Get ready for an action-packed weekend as the "One for All" Girls Hockey Development event gears up to take place from February 15-18, 2024, in Yellowknife. We are thrilled to announce that a total of 184 girls aged 5-18 have registered for this exciting event, showcasing the growing interest and participation in girls' hockey.

First Shift

Representing a diverse range of NWT communities, participants from Aklavik, Behchoko, Fort McPherson, Fort Simpson, Fort Smith, Hay River, Inuvik, Paulatuk, Tuktoyaktuk, and Yellowknife will come together to hit the ice. Additionally, athletes from Nunavut, including Arviat, Gjoa Haven, Iqaluit, Pangnirtung, and Rankin Inlet, will join in the action, adding to the spirit of camaraderie and competition.

In addition to the on-ice activities, participants and attendees can look forward to getting to know the dedicated Hockey Staff through their bios and engaging in the "All for One" colouring contest, details of which can be found at http://hockeynwt.com/article/91612.

FAQ's

You are able to drop your daughter off at the arena and return later. If you have flexibility in your schedule please reach out to Kaylee Grant if you're able to help volunteer.

Lunch - Friday Hockey Canada will be ordering Subway platters for participants with toppings and sauces on the side.

Lunch Saturday - will be pasta dishes from Boston Pizza. There will be the choice of spaghetti and fettuccine.

Healthy snacks will also be available throughout the weekend.

What to bring

    1. Hockey gear w/ neck guard
    2. Gym clothes
    3. Clean indoor footwear
    4. Toiletries
    5. Water Bottle
    6. Towel
    7. Some spending money - the canteen only accepts cash. Although snacks and some meals are provided we do recommend athletes bringing some money just in case. There is also a skate shop if campers need their skates sharpened.
