Available spots on parent charter

The excitement for the 2026 Arctic Winter Games continues to grow, and the response from Team NT families and supporters remains incredible. Thanks to strong interest and the flexibility of updated flight times, we are happy to share that there are still spots available on the parent and supporter charter flight to Whitehorse.

The revised schedule now allows supporters to arrive in time for the Opening Ceremony, making this shared journey even more special.

Charter Flight Details

March 8
Departure YZF at 12:25 local
Arrival YXY at 13:15 local

March 14
Departure YXY at 15:30 local
Arrival YZF at 18:10 local

All departures will take place through the terminal in both Yellowknife and Whitehorse. These flights will operate as unsecured scheduled flights, meaning no security screening is required. Valid photo ID, such as a driver’s licence or passport, will be required at check in.

The aircraft will accommodate up to 174 passengers. Baggage limits and in flight service will follow Air North’s regular scheduled service guidelines.

We are now contacting individuals on the waitlist and beginning the booking process. If you previously expressed interest or would still like to join the charter, now is the time. Passenger details will be collected shortly so bookings can be finalized.

This charter remains more than just a flight. It is a shared experience, a way to travel together as a Territory, support our athletes in person, and bring the pride and energy of the North to Whitehorse.
