Edmonton Oilers First Shift Returns to Yellowknife This Fall
Hockey dreams are about to begin in Yellowknife as the Edmonton Oilers First Shift program returns for the 2025 season. Designed for boys and girls who are new to hockey, the program offers an accessible and fun introduction to Canada’s game.

Led by Hockey NWT and supported by Oilers alumni, the program ensures every participant receives full equipment and six on-ice sessions focused on fun, skill development, and confidence building.
