Join us for an exciting charity Hockey game between the RCMP and the YK Fire Division on April 16, starting at 6:00 PM! This event promises to be a thrilling matchup, and best of all, admission is free!
Event Highlights:
- Free Admission: Come out and support your local heroes!
- Food Donations: We encourage attendees to bring food donations, which will be forwarded to the Salvation Army NWT Resource Centre to help those in need.
- 50/50 Raffle: Participate in our 50/50 raffle, with proceeds going towards community initiatives.
- Cash Donations: All cash donations will support the introduction of new mental health initiatives for youth and other community programs across the NWT.
A Game with Purpose:
This charity game is played in memory of Firefighters Cyril Fyfe and Kevin Olson, as well as RCMP Constable Christopher John Worden. It has been a cherished tradition, but due to COVID-19, the game has not been held in recent years.
This year, we are excited to bring back the event, which will not only serve as a fun hockey game but also as a food drive and a platform to promote youth mental health initiatives and hockey programs throughout the NWT.
Join us as we kick off a weekend of hockey in Yellowknife, leading up to the Adult Rec Easter tournament. Let’s come together as a community to support a great cause and enjoy some fantastic Hockey! We look forward to seeing you there!
